Big things are happening in Windsor! Our city is set to receive a massive economic boost thanks to a nearly $300 million investment from a prominent Canadian automotive parts manufacturer.

The Minth Group, in collaboration with provincial and city officials announced the construction of a state-of-the-art 380,000-square-foot manufacturing facility during a press conference. This major development will be located on 54 acres of surplus land at the Windsor International Airport, positioning the city for long-term industrial growth.

In addition to strengthening Windsor’s role in the automotive supply chain, the new facility is expected to create 1,100 direct jobs which is a significant win for the local workforce. Rosati Construction has been named the design-builder for the project, bringing their expertise to one of the most anticipated builds in the region.

At a time when global trade uncertainties, like tariffs from the U.S., are causing concern, this investment offers a welcome wave of optimism for Windsor’s economy. The project reflects confidence in the region’s skilled labour force and strategic location.

This is more than just a factory; it’s a powerful step forward for Windsor’s economic future.
